Introduction
Since 1965, BKR has played an important role in the stability of financial transactions in the Netherlands, with the aim of helping all Dutch citizens maintain healthy finances and keeping the number of people with problematic debt as low as possible.
Recently, we joined forces to provide their developers with high-performance laptops — a crucial step in promoting efficient working processes within Stichting BKR.
About the project
In collaboration with Ron van Vendelo, IT specialist for office automation at BKR, the developers' development environments were taken to a new level. The expected result? A seamless integration of Microsoft Endpoint Manager, tailored to the needs of both the developers and the organisation.
The new generation of developer devices is now fully managed through Intune, with developers granted Local Admin rights for optimal flexibility. The laptops, carefully selected and matched to the defined requirements, run a development environment tailored to each individual user.
Digital Survival Company drew up a High Level Design to address the complexity of the implementation and Microsoft's new features. The new workplaces were seamlessly integrated into the Microsoft Endpoint Manager environment, independent of BKR's on-premises landscape.
Following a smooth delivery, a streamlined handover to BKR's management team took place, including clear communication to end users. To this day, full management of these new, advanced workplaces remains in the hands of Digital Survival Company. We look back on a collaboration that not only has a track record of past successes, but also offers promising prospects for BKR's future-proof workplace environment.
