Introduction
Salland Zorgverzekeraar, based in Deventer, has been insuring sustainable, accessible and affordable healthcare for everyone in the Netherlands for more than 160 years. The health insurer is known as the regional market leader with Salland Zorgverzekeringen and the Dutch market leader with HollandZorg. HollandZorg offers health insurance for labour migrants and expats. In addition, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS), Salland Zorgverzekeraar runs the Salland Zorgkantoor (care office) in the Midden-IJssel region. In the midst of the digital transformation needed to realise its vision of optimal care for everyone, Salland Zorgverzekeraar was looking for a reliable Cloud services partner to support them at every step of their cloud journey.
About the project
As a financial services provider in the health insurance market, the health insurer plays an important role in society, where continuity is crucial for both policyholders and care providers. We, as Digital Survival Company, were happy to take on this responsibility, bringing the experience needed to guarantee that essential continuity.
The transition to an Azure environment was a crucial phase. Our all-encompassing service, built on taking work off our clients' hands, safeguards quality and efficiency through smart automation. The lift-and-shift transition, completed in November, was only the beginning of the cloud journey. We guided Salland Zorgverzekeraar through a fit-for-purpose transformation, in which costs were managed efficiently thanks to Microsoft Funding. What strengthened the success of our collaboration was the perfect alignment between the health insurer's culture and that of Digital Survival Company.
