AI Strategy
AI is high on the agenda today. We help enterprise organisations define a realistic AI Strategy: which applications get priority, what that requires in terms of data and infrastructure, and how to roll out AI responsibly within the boundaries of security and compliance.

Why an AI Strategy?
An AI Strategy is a documented plan describing which AI applications an organisation wants to deploy, in what order, and what's needed for that in terms of data, infrastructure, governance and skills. It prevents AI initiatives from remaining isolated experiments without coherence or scalability.
A good AI Strategy doesn't start with technology, but with the question of which decisions or processes benefit from AI. From that business question, we determine which applications, from Microsoft 365 Copilot to custom solutions, deliver the most value, and what the foundation needs to support that safely, including the data sources, classification and governance required.
Our AI Strategy approach
- 1
Identify and prioritise use cases
Together with business and IT, we map out the most promising AI applications (use cases) and prioritise based on impact and feasibility, so you don't start everywhere at once.
- 2
Assess the data foundation
We assess whether data sources, classification and quality are sufficient for the chosen use cases, and map out what still needs to be set up.
- 3
Set up governance and risk management
We determine which frameworks are needed for responsible AI use: access rights, privacy, transparency and human oversight where relevant.
- 4
Make platform choices
We advise on the right combination of platforms and tools, from Microsoft 365 Copilot to Azure OpenAI or custom solutions, matched to the chosen use cases.
- 5
Roadmap and organisation
The strategy results in a phased roadmap with priorities, with attention to the skills and adoption needed to make AI actually land.
What does an AI Strategy deliver?
Prioritised AI applications
A sharp prioritisation of AI applications based on value and feasibility, instead of a long list of loose ideas.
Governance
Governance that makes AI use responsible and demonstrable, aligned with GDPR and sector-specific requirements.
Substantiated platform choice
A substantiated platform choice that fits the chosen use cases and the existing IT environment.
Roadmap
A roadmap that accounts for adoption, so AI applications are actually used.

FAQ
How is an AI Strategy different from experimenting with individual AI tools?
Many organisations already experiment with tools like ChatGPT or Copilot on a small scale, but without a strategy those initiatives tend to stay isolated and hard to scale. An AI Strategy connects the dots: it prioritises use cases based on value and feasibility, and makes sure data, governance and skills are in place so successful pilots can actually scale across the organisation.
Do we need a Cloud Strategy before we can start an AI Strategy?
Not necessarily as a separate step first, but the two are closely connected. AI applications only work safely and at scale on a solid, well-governed cloud foundation. If that foundation isn't there yet, we address cloud readiness as part of the AI Strategy, or recommend a combined approach with our Cloud Strategy service.
How do you make sure an AI Strategy stays realistic and doesn't turn into a wish list?
We prioritise ruthlessly on business value and feasibility, not on what's technically possible. Every use case is weighed against the data, governance and skills actually available today. That keeps the roadmap grounded in what can genuinely be delivered, with clear milestones rather than an open-ended list of ambitions.
